Montgomery Catholic’s Justin Lee Becomes 3-Time Montgomery County Spelling Bee Champion

On Monday, February 12, Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School’s Justin Lee became the 3-time Montgomery County Spelling Bee Champion. Justin successfully made it through 30 rounds of words, with the championship word being “bonsai.” Justin will represent Montgomery Catholic in the Alabama State Spelling Bee on March 16 at UAB’s University Hall.

Montgomery Catholic was represented by three students from each campus at the County Spelling Bee: Justin Lee, Addison Feely, and Claire Blanks. We are proud of all three of these students and wish Justin the best of luck in the State Spelling Bee.
