The hope is to prepare a new era of advocacy and action among our nations young people to be active in the modern movement for human rights. Montgomery Catholic senior Jonathan Green said “it was necessary, there are so many parts of the civil rights movement, this was an opportunity to find out the truth about it. It also gave us an opportunity to learn about the people involved in the movement that sometimes go nameless”. Green also said that he enjoyed the reenactment and thought that the performances were cool.
