Montgomery Catholic Band Spreads Cheer with Annual Christmas Concert

Montgomery Catholic’s band members performed their annual Christmas concert on Thursday, November 30 for parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends. The band concert featured performances by all 6 of our school’s bands, including 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands followed by our prestigious high school ensemble and the jazz band. They performed numerous Christmas classics including arr. A. Johnson’s “Jingle Bells,” Vince Gassi’s “Moon of Winter: The Huron Carol,” and Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.”

Following the main performances, there was a bonus ensemble of Montgomery Catholic’s jazz band featuring solos from students Peter Riello, Cooper Beesley, Aidan Blum, John Scott Jackson, and more! The highlight of the night was a stunning rendition of arr. A. Johnson’s “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.”
The Montgomery Catholic Band program features daily instruction for all 130 band students across each of our campuses. We are proud to be one of the premier band programs in the River Region!
