4th graders from Montgomery Catholic were on the move again! On Tuesday, February 8 the class visited the Civil Rights Memorial Center. A circular black granite table records the names of the martyrs and chronicles the history of the movement. Visitors are invited to touch the engraved names; MCPS students encircled the memorial to touch and read the names of those martyrs. The students were so attentive as they listened and learned about the Civil Rights Movement and nonviolent resistance.
