Junior Girls Claim Powder Puff Championship 1

The Student Government Association at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School organized a Powder Puff match up pitting the classes against each other, adding to the celebration of Homecoming week. The teams, coached by football players from each class, plotted and practiced their plans for attack. As night fell, the crowd cheered in the stands when the girls took the field. In the first match, the sophomores shut out the freshmen 22-0. The second match was a real nail-biter between the juniors and seniors with the juniors winning 6-0. The seniors shut out the freshmen 20-0, sealing third place. The championship game came down to a battle between the middle classes. The junior girls claimed the victory over the sophomores 20-0. The juniors are predicting a repeat in 2006!
