Where did you go to college?
I graduated from the University of South Florida with Bachelors of Science in Finance, Elementary Teaching Certificate with endorsements in ESOL and Mathematics (to 8th grade).
Tell us about your family. This can be anything you want to share. (Do you have children that will attend Montgomery Catholic?)
My husband and I are high school sweethearts! We have two children, who will also be attending Montgomery Catholic, and two labradors. We are an active duty military family, with a strong family core, and make the most of every location we are stationed at. We volunteer as much as we can, create lifelong friendships and make everlasting memories for our whole family. We are all very excited to be part of the Catholic Family!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to go camping, go to the beach, go on hikes, go skiing, and find adventures! Oh, and I love photography!
What is your favorite thing about being a teacher?
My favorite thing about being a teacher is capturing the “AH-HAH” moment. Watching a child succeed at something they have worked so hard to achieve, that sparkling golden moment, makes every lesson even more worth it! I’m very enthusiastic, and teaching allows me to bring enthusiasm to practically everything.
What brought you to Montgomery Catholic? Why did you feel our school was a good fit for you?
High School teacher, Mindy Walski brought me to Montgomery Catholic! With every move, I worry about the educational aspect. Not just for myself and teaching, but also for our children receiving a well-rounded education which is so very important. I truly believe God’s hand led me down this path in connecting with Mindy, for not just myself or soccer, but for our children to be part of Catholic! The principles, values, family atmosphere and spiritual aspect of Catholic fits every need and desire for myself as an educator and our family.
