The MCPS Key Club loved participating in Walk-N-Roll through the Montgomery Zoo, benefiting the Spina Bifida Association of Alabama on Saturday, October 5. The Key Club Members volunteered at the event, not only to honor Montgomery Catholic’s own Treloar family, but also for a chance to give back to our community. The MCPS students especially enjoyed volunteering to face paint, as well as, having the opportunity to interact with so many fun children and people at the zoo while helping to raise money for kids with Spina Bifida. Sponsored by Montgomery Catholic teacher, Mrs. Jeanene Crenshaw, the 60 Montgomery Catholic Key Club members do thousands of hours of service each year in the community through organizations such as Christmas Clearinghouse, Catholic Social Services, Montgomery Area Council on Aging, and Montgomery Humane Shelter. This Fundraiser for Spina Bifida is always the Montgomery Catholic Key Club’s first project of the year.
