Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School supported the Arthritis Foundation by participating in the Jingle Bell Run on December 1, 2012. The Montgomery Catholic Racing Knights 37 member team raised over $3,545 for the Arthritis Foundation. Finishing as the third highest fundraising team. Led by Team Captain and MCPS parent volunteer Tracie Colvin, the Racing Knights team was made up of students, faculty, staff, administrators and family members. The Montgomery Catholic’s 2012 Jingle Bell Run team members were Brennan Binns, Carson Binns, Christie Binns, Ethan Binns, Matt Binns, Anne Ceasar, Charlie Colvin, MacKenzie Colvin, Vicki Dickson, Dan Downes, Jacob Downes, Nathan Downes, Sloan Downes, Trey Downes, Valerie Downes, Ruth Glenboski, Tony Glenboski, Kay Hassett, Vickie Hulcher, Anna Lee Ingalls, Mary Kelley, Sarah Beth Littrell, Andrea McOmber, Kate McOmber, Nathan McOmber, Kristen Piatek, Josh Stark, Katelyn Stark, Sharon Stark, Annabel Starrett, Audra Starrett, Eli Starrett, Mary Regan Starrett, Hunter Walski, Mindy Walski, Julie Wood. The team’s top fundraiser was Sloan Downes, who raised a total of $1,905. Mrs. Downes is passionate about the cause because of the impact Rheumatoid Arthritis has had on her own family. Like her team, Mrs. Downes was the third largest individual fundraiser for the Jingle Bell Run this year. A fun event for a wonderful cause, GO KNIGHTS!!!
