Montgomery Catholic’s Varsity Golf Team participated in the 1st Annual Catholic Schools Inviational Golf Tournament sponsored by McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and Spring Hill College.
The tournament was hosted on Spring Hill College’s golf course in Mobile.
Thomas Sutton, a junior at Montgomery Catholic, birded the last hold for a score of 70, two under par, with a six stroke lead over the 2nd place finisher.
As a team, Montgomery Catholic finished second to host McGill-Toolen. Also participating in the tournament were John Carroll High School of Birmingham and St. Patrick’s Catholic High School of Biloxi, Mississippi.
The Knights complete the second half of the Capitol City Conference Tournament today at Lagoon Park in Montgomery. They will return to Lagoon Park on Monday, April 28th to compete in the AHSAA 3A Sectional Tournament.
