The City of Montgomery snow and ice event in mid-January left Montgomery Catholic St. Bede campus second graders excited to get back to school and play in the left over snow after a mid-week break. Second grade teacher Tracey Bender added “We just had to have a science lesson on snow. What a rare opportunity!” They were especially excited when their principal, Ms. Laurie Gulley joined in the fun. They asked her to build a snowman and she was happy to help with the lesson and help burn off a little energy after being inside for a few days!
