Senior Isabelle Cochran |
Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School proudly announces senior Isabelle Cochran was selected as the female winner of the Jimmy Hitchcock Memorial Award during the 60th Annual Ceremony on April 30, 2019. Isabelle is the daughter of Col. and Mrs. Shawn and Karen Cochran and is a member of Holy Spirit Parish. While at Catholic, Isabelle has maintained a 4.34 GPA and is a state champion track and field and cross country runner. She has received over $350,000 in scholarship offers. She will attend Auburn University in the fall, majoring in mechanical engineering.
This award recognizes Christian Leadership in athletics and is given by the YMCA annually. She is the sixth Jimmy Hitchcock Memorial Award winner from Montgomery Catholic, joining Johnny Sullivan 1969, Tim Crowley 1996, Lauren Vercelli 2005, Roscoe Anderson 2009, and Brian Anderson 2017.

Isabelle was joined at the ceremony by Montgomery Catholic nominees Checardo (C.J.) Person, Jr., Amaris Tyynismaa, and freshman nominees Lily Bachl, Ethan Binns, Mallory Hildebrand, and Ella Newell.
