The Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine is a prom-like event for special needs young adults and adults. Montgomery Catholic had 19 students and 3 teachers from the Pro Life and Key Clubs volunteer for this year’s Night to Shine event!
Montgomery’s Night to Shine was hosted by Thorington Road Baptist Church at Wynlakes Country Club. MCPS students were trained in January then the majority of students were “buddies” and matched directly with a special guest! The buddies’ job was to make their special guest feel honored, comfortable, entertained, and happy! The event was a huge success and the Montgomery Catholic students had a wonderful time!
Middle and High School Art teacher Mrs. Bethany Davis connected Montgomery Catholic to this wonderful event. Other faculty volunteers included High School Math teacher Mrs. Karen Harris who helped with the special guests’ makeup and flower arranging and High School Math teacher and ProLife Club Sponsor Mr. Rick Aaron.
