Congratulations to Montgomery Catholic’s three Wrestling State Qualifiers, Zachary Van Alst, Cameron Harris and Gabe Keating. This is the first time the Montgomery Catholic Wrestling team has qualified more than two team members for the state wrestling tournament since the program started. At the AHSAA South Super-Sectional tournament in Montgomery February 6-7, Zachary Van Alst placed 1st at 122lbs, Cameron Harris placed 8th at 147lbs and Gabe Keating placed 4th at 154lbs. The wrestling team placed 15th out of 25 teams with 66.5 points. The team will head to Huntsville February 12 -14 for the State Tournament and show that wrestling Knight spirit!
