Affording MCPS

At Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School, we believe that a quality Catholic education should be accessible to all families. We offer a variety of options to help reduce the cost of private education, including The CHOOSE Act (Education Savings Accounts), Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs), Variable Tuition (VT), and MCPS Endowed Scholarships.

Our dedicated team works closely with families to explore all available options, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment. These options, along with flexible payment plans, ensure Montgomery Catholic is an investment that enriches both your child’s academic future and their personal growth.

Important Notes on Financial Aid of all categories:

  • MCPS works with its available resources to make the school accessible to as many families as possible.
  • Financial Aid will never cover 100% of a student’s tuition. All families at MCPS are required to pay a portion of the standard tuition as an investment in their child’s education, and all families are required to pay the annual $750 capital assessment fee.
  • Families should FIRST apply for re-enrollment to MCPS for the upcoming school year. To be considered fully enrolled (and eligible to apply for financial aid), you should complete the online contract and pay the non-refundable $250 registration fee per student. Once financial assistance is finalized (typically in April or May), a “re-generated” contract that incorporates appropriate aid amounts will be created for you to review and sign (replacing the original tuition contract).
