Senator Richard Shelby (R-AL) met with the 8th grade class from Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School during their year end trip to Washington DC. Charlie Anderson, the Student Government Association President for the Middle School, presented Senator Shelby with a plaque commemorating the visit. Thanks to Senator Richard Shelby, the students were given an opportunity to visit the Senate Chamber while it was in session and heard Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) and Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) make addresses on the Senate floor.
