Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School opened the new school year with 17,000 square feet of new and renovated space at their Vaughn Road Campus. The Dolly Barranco Activity Center and Cafeteria is named for Mrs. Dolly Barranco; a beloved member of the Montgomery community who managed the then Catholic High cafeteria for more than 25 years.
The Barranco Activity Center is a 13,000-square-foot facility housing two new art classrooms, a stage, state of the art kitchen, and storage areas. The former cafeteria was renovated over the summer into four new classrooms.
The Barranco Center is the largest climate-controlled facility on any of Montgomery Catholic’s campuses with seating for over 600 students. A formal dedication of the new facility will be held this fall.
