Middle School Students Donate Hand-made Quilts to Charity 1Middle School students from Montgomery Catholic display one of the quilts created in their Exploratory Sewing Class. Students designed and sewed two quilts over the nine-week course, donating one to Counseling Outreach for Pregnancy Emergency (C.O.P.E.) and the other for Family Promise.

Shown here with instructor Amy Ronan, left, are (left to right) Joanne Spotswood, Alex Manning, Erin Williams, and Claire Galluzzi. Students said it was a “good feeling” to be able to create such a beautiful and useful gift using their talents.

Sewing is just one of several Exploratory Classes offered to Middle School students at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School.
