MCPS Kindergarten Students Merge Science & Literature

The Kindergarten classes at Montgomery Catholic’s St. Bede campus read The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. As a culmination project, the students merged science and literature to make “hairy” caterpillars out of pantyhose, soil, and grass seed. Pictured is Mrs. Wilson’s Kindergarten class with their very “hairy” caterpillars.
